Description
This is one of my personal favorite vistas, to look at and to photograph. The Blue Ridge mountains generally, and this mountain view specifically make me think about time on the geological scale, and what a tiny, microscopic blip in time we all are to them. And on this particular day the clouds filtered the light in a way I have not seen here before or since, so I remain grateful I was there with a camera at the time. This image was captured within a few minutes of another of my favorites available here titled “Blue and Gold Time“.
