Description
There are almost too many elements that I love in this one photograph. Among them is the overall effect of being on a large grassy bald covered in rime ice/hoarfrost (I am unsure which) that is above the sea of clouds that extends all the way to the horizon. The geography, the clouds, and the fantastical colors in the sky are enough to make all the effort involved in getting a photograph like this feel extremely well-justified. This moment in time is one that will stick with me for a while, and I am excited to be able to share it.
